Cryogenic Gas Processing Plant Additional Details
(1) 10 MMSCFD Cryogenic Gas Processing Plant is available for purchase. The plant was refurbished in October, 2013 with approx. $2,000,000 invested in the refurbishment and system upgrades.
The Cryogenic gas processing skid was designed to achieve a nameplate throughput of 10MMSCFD. With a design inlet operating pressure of 1000psig and a demethanizer tower design operating pressure of 235psig, the 50HP turbo-expander process is capable of achieving a separation temperature of -90°F. The gas sub-cooled type process (GSP) provides better ethane and propane recovery with enhanced heat integration, providing a tower reflux temperature of -150°F. The gas-gas, cold-gas, demethanizer reboiler, and sub-cooler heat exchangers are brazed aluminum type, increasing process heat integration and efficiency.
Two mole sieve dehydration beds along with methanol injection prevent freezes from occurring within the process. The mole sieve regen system, complete with regen heater, is included.
A kettle chiller (supplied with propane refrigerant) provides initial cooling of the inlet gas and allows for richer streams of natural gas to be successfully processed.
The demethanizer reboiler utilizes heat from the inlet and/or residue compressions to provide reboil energy to the process. This eliminates the need for a hot oil or direct fired reboiler system.
