President Goodluck Jonathan, has commiserated with Governor Adams Oshiomhole and the people of Edo State on the death of prominent Nigerian administrator, educationist and elder statesman, Chief Tayo Akpata.
A statement by Mr. Reuben Abati, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity said Jonathan also extended sincere condolences to Chief Akpata’s widow, Chief Olabisi Akpata, his children, grandchildren and other relatives.
He said: “As they mourn their beloved husband, father and grandfather, the President urges them to take solace in the memory of Chief Akpata’s long, and very fulfilled life.”
