All commissioners and Special Advisers in charge of ICT in the 36 states and FCT are converging on Yenagoa, Balyesa State to deliberate, appraise and agree on the way forward to leveraging ICT for the transformation of Nigeria into a digital economy.
The commissioners under the auspices of the National Council on Communication Technology, NCCT- constituted by the Federal Ministry of Communication Technology as from the 3rd will commence its 3rd Regular Meeting from the 10th of September 2014 at the Banquet Hall, Government House, Yenagoa Bayelsa state.
The Theme for the 3rd Regular Meeting of the Council is “Mainstreaming ICT in National Development: Moving from Talk to Action.”
Minister of Communication Technology, Dr Omobola Johnson, who is the Chairman of the Council, will chair the meeting.
The meeting is expected to, among other things, review various actions taken by members towards implementing decisions taken at the 2nd NCCT held in Ondo State in August 2013.
